Double Period Project: Inspiration

I finally got my dress done!!!  I will be posting pictures later today, but thought I would go ahead and post my inspiration pics and some misc.

I had a hard time deciding which era to enter for "Your Wardrobe Unlocked's Double Period Project".  Natural Form or the 18th century Revolutionary era.  I love them both so I choose to sort of combine them as per these fashion Plates

I set a few rules for myself....Stash Fabrics Only!!  As I got started that rule was very hard to follow.  I would have done a few things differently with more funds availble.  The stash only was hard, but sewing with baby was even harder.

Why is the dress on the desk?

To keep it out of these sweet little fingers!

More pictures later!

how is that little cherub?
I did not enter this year, mainly because of the baby. Good luck you have more competitors this year!

My baby is doing wonderful.....getting into everything, cutting teeth all the fun stuff. We have had so much fun with him, never a dull moment! I almost didn't enter thanks to two top teeth coming in....if I didn't have such a sweet mother in law watching him for a couple hours friday I wouldn't have made it! How is your little girl?

She is almost 9 months, has her 2 bottom teeth, stands supported all the time, walks supported to. She could climb stairs if we had any for her. We have caught her standing unsupported for brief seconds, wears 18 month clothing!
Evidently she is trying hard to catch up to her brothers.

Having family near by is great, I don't really have that luxary, and well the exclusive breastfeeding means she needs to stay close anyways.

I am so glad to hear there were over 30 entries this year!
